Rodent Control
Believe it or not, rodents occur almost everywhere outside. Many times we dont notice them because they stay outside when food is plentiful. However, in the fall, a major source of food, plants and seeds become less available so rodents have to seek food elsewhere. Sometimes, thats in your house or garage or attic!
Mice are versatile and can fit in very small places, gaining access around cable lines, holes and even vents. Your garage is easily accessible through the small space between the garage door and the floor. HomeTeam will be happy to help you rid your home, garage or attice from rats or mice. Please search for a branch near you and call us at the number above.
Fire Ant Control
Fire ants are no fun! They are bothersome to your family and pets and can sting when their mounds are imposed upon. Usually fire ant stings will cause only a raised welt, but the stings can be more serious to a small percentage of people.
Fire ants are social creatures with defined responsibilities in their colonies. It is best to prevent your yard from becoming home to fire ants or to get rid of them once they become apparent. Call the number at the top of the page to contact a branch office near you.
Mosquito Control
In warm climes mosquito season can start as early as April and last almost year round, but peak months for mosquitoes in the U.S. are July through September in most areas.
There are over 3,000 species of mosquitoes found throughout the world, approximately 175 of which exist in North America, north of Mexico. The minimum number of different species reported from each state in the U.S. is 25 in West Virginia and 84 in Texas. Prime mosquito biting hours are dusk and dawn although some mosquitoes are daytime feeders.
Not only are mosquitoes annoying but they can be harmful, too. Mosquitoes carry diseases such as West Nile virus, malaria and encephalitis. To reduce mosquito populations is it important to take preventive measures. Contact the branch office nearest you to find out how you can help control mosquitoes in your yard.
